Introducing the James Bond Goldfinger Soundtrack 12" Vinyl LP - Exclusive Bodypaint Edition, the most complete version ever of John Barry’s score on vinyl. This new issue showcases the film’s iconic music in exhilarating fashion. After decades in which Goldfinger was issued in the US and internationally with different track listings, the label has collected all of the cues on one record for the very first time.
Backstory. The 1964 film stars Sean Connery as James Bond in his third turn as 007 and is directed by Guy Hamilton. The bold Goldfinger orchestral score defined the mood and style of the entire series. The historic title song, sung by Shirley Bassey, packs a sonic punch that still hits as strongly today as it did six decades ago.
Details. This exclusive edition vinyl has an lustrous gold textured design inspired by the iconic gold bodypaint used in the film on Jill Masterson. Produced by Neil S. Bulk, restored by Chris Malone and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this remastered LP release, pressed on 180g coloured vinyl, presents a new playlist - a hybrid of the UK and US album sequencing for the most complete vinyl release of the score to date. The gatefold jacket includes an 8-page booklet featuring liner notes by Jon Burlingame and art design by Jim Titus.
