Advanced Tweeter and Woofer Design
The 5050 features 6-inch C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ woofers with a seamless, smooth profile from edge to centre. This innovative design ensures exceptional sound dispersion, minimised harmonic distortion, and a controlled frequency response for seamless integration with the tweeter. It also tightens deep bass performance, allowing for more versatile speaker placement, even near walls.
The speaker's 1-inch hermetically sealed tweeter is mechanically isolated from the front baffle. This isolation reduces the effects of internal cabinet pressure and woofer vibrations, ensuring crystal clear, precise high frequencies.
Engineered for Superior Sound Quality
The 5050's solid MDF cabinet is rear-ported and features advanced Point to Point™ (P2P) bracing, designed through microscopic-level analysis. This bracing dissipates unwanted acoustic energy, creating a rigid, non-resonant environment for the drivers to perform at their absolute best. Additionally, the cabinet employs Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer (HPE™) tube technology, which minimizes internal pressure to maintain a clean, uncoloured sound.
