The Grundens Deviation Ankle Boot is built to give anglers a comfortable, performance-driven boot that holds up on the water and off it. It is the boot for the days that do not stay in one place, and Grundens designed every part of it around real time on a wet deck.
Traction comes first. The non-marking lugged rubber outsole is cut with razor siping that clears mud and debris while keeping the grip you need on a slick, wet deck. Underfoot, a thicker, compression-molded EVA midsole delivers noticeable shock resistance and all-day cushioning, so long days standing and moving do not wear you down.
The boot is 100% waterproof with 6-inch ankle-height coverage, enough to handle a wide range of sea and weather conditions. Inside, two HeiQ finishes do the comfort work: HeiQ Pure is an anti-odor lining finish that keeps things fresh and leaves the typical footwear stench behind, and HeiQ SmartTemp is a thermo-regulating finish that helps keep your feet cool.
