This double mattress is made from PFD free 100% polyester and measures 183 x 120 x 5cm (L x W x H) when inflated, packing down to a compact 64 x 23cm when deflated. The self-inflating mattress is supplied with a carry bag for easy storage and portability.

The mattress’ Flat High-Flow (FHF) valve offers fast, reliable inflation and quick deflation, whilst enhancing air flow. The valve is compatible with most electric pumps.

Instructions:
The self-inflating mattress inflates by opening the valves.

1. Initial inflation: It is normal to experience slow self-inflation in a new mattress or if the mattress has been stored rolled away for a long period of time. To overcome this, the valves can be opened and inflated by mouth to assist the foam in taking shape.

2. Normal inflation: When the valves are opened, the mattress will inflate to 80% of normal thickness in approximately two minutes. The valves can be closed and more air blown in to achieve desired comfort level.

3. Deflating: To remove air from the self-inflating mattress, the valves must be opened, and the mattress fully rolled up. One all air has escaped, the valves should be closed, the straps secured and then the mattress can be stowed away in its carry bag.

Please note, to fully remove air from the mattress ready to pack it in its carry bag, Outwell suggest opening the valve and folding the mattress four times to squeeze out most of the air. The valve can then be closed, and the mattress folded lengthwise. It will now be easier to roll the mattress tightly towards the valve. Close the valve before attaching the hook and loop straps.
