ARK X KINRADEN X LOU CHARRIER

In a quiet collaboration shaped by dialogue, process, and shared obsessions, architect and creative force Lou Charrier and KINRADEN’s Creative Director, Sarah Emilie Müllertz, have created a sculptural stone object exclusively for ARK KOLLEKT.  

The result is a limited-edition sculptural object in Italian Light Bardiglio Marble, carved with precision, patience, and an underlying sense of irreverence. 

It is a study in contrast — weight and softness, precision and imperfection, stillness and latent function. Its shape is unbalanced, its purpose almost absent. And yet, hidden within, a small hollow: carved slowly and deliberately to cradle a single piece of jewellery. A pause in stone. A considered holding of something precious. 

“We wanted to create something that exists only for its presence,” says Müllertz, “and still invites interaction.” 

Shaped through ongoing conversation and visits to our Copenhagen studio, this collaboration has been a shared exploration — of process, material, and the role of the object today. 

The final piece transcends categories. It is not quite sculpture, not quite design. It is, we believe, a relic from the future— an object that resists definition while quietly commanding space. 

The object is made in a limited edition of three.
