The 12s C-Link is made with the same high tensile strength C67 NiCrMo2 steel and nickel surface treatment as the outer links of the chain. Campagnolo recommend not reusing the C-Link after initial install and to only use a new C-Link whenever installing a Campagnolo 12s chain.
The Campagnolo nickel-teflon treated C12s chain is designed specifically to work efficiently and securely with 12s sprocket system. Campagnolo 12s chains are strong, light, durable and amazingly efficient.
