"Mirrors was derived from Eric Oglander’s online project, Craigslist Mirrors. Described as a document of Oglander’s continued search via craigslist for compelling photos of mirrors, his site is a display case for these culled objects; artifacts recovered from a well of online obscurity. 

Refocusing the essence of the project’s emergent themes (anonymity, fragmented realities, voyeurism, notions of truth, and crowd sourcing) the book distills Oglander's project down from a diffuse cloud of images-of-objects-that-cast-images, back again to object itself. The images collected here pull the viewers gaze through the page to the cross-section of two narrow planes of someone’s reality. They are glances that teem with a sense of further exploration if we could just direct our view behind us.

Mirrors embodies Oglander’s desire to explore minimal forms amongst a vast community’s subconscious endeavor to transmit the formless."

I'M AMENDING THIS REVIEW AND ADJUSTING THE RATING UPWARD! Though it took my dog a little while to adjust to how differently this ball behaves, HE LOVES IT NOW. I wish I could give you a sense of how enjoyable and comically entertaining it is to play with him using it. ORIG. REVIEW: Bought this for a little 8 lb. aggressive chewer who loves to play fetch. I initially bought the 2" Chuckit! Ultra ball previously. It is the most amazingly durable product I've found for this pup. Very firm, but not hard on his teeth. He's very quick and agile, so I thought he would like the eye-mouth coordination challenge of a ball that changes direction suddenly. I guess my only disappointment with the product is that the ball is hollow instead of having a solid core like the Ultra ball, so he doesn't enjoy chomping down on it the same way. The erratic bounce feature is entertaining, but the pup is a little skittish, so he was intimidated at first. He's warmed up to it, but not with the same enthusiasm as the Ultra ball. Having said all this, I don't fault the product for the rating I gave it. It is a quality-made product that performs as advertised. I just didn't anticipate that my dog would be less enthusiastic than I thought.
