While unto this point Edgar Russ made always copies from Stradivari, Guarneri, Testore, Sgarabotto, Montagnana, Ruggieri, Bergonzi etc. This is a completely new designed violin shape. Very long C bouts with reduce the upper part to a minimum; the lower corners are slightly moved to the lower part increasing playability and underline the lower bouts

All together a very interesting shape which gives you an extreme well balanced but full of character Italian sound pattern which seems to be without any limit.
