Engineered with MicroModule II gears and a lightweight, rigid CI4+ carbon-reinforced MGL rotor for effortless startup, the Twin Power XD FB comes armed with InfinityXross for improved contact between the drive and pinion gears, and InfinityDrive, which includes a bushing-supported main shaft that’s given a unique treatment and processing for better cranking power.
Other upgrades include a DuraCross Drag that incorporates advanced materials for extreme smoothness and longevity, InfinityLoop for a slower spool oscillation and more precise line winding, and X-Protect to drain water away from the line roller and roller clutch for quieter operation and longer life. Equipped with S A-RB bearings and a large handle knob for maximum winding power and comfort, Shimano Twin Power XD FB Spinning Reels have what it takes to handle multispecies angling in harsh environments.
