Our Adderley Wall Light blends friendly, easy styling with the practical beauty of adjustable lighting. Designed in-house by Mark Holloway and crafted here in the UK, it pairs a smooth white opal globe shade with a movable arm so you can set the light just how you like it — whether angled for reading, pointed toward artwork, or simply glowing gently in the background.

The opal shade (18cm high × 20cm wide) casts a warm, even light, giving a naturally softened look that’s perfect for creating calming atmospheres. You can choose from eight hand-finished colours — Antique Brass, Light Antique Brass, Dark Bronze, Satin Brass, Polished Brass, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome and Matt Black — so the Adderley fits effortlessly into both traditional and modern spaces. It’s also available either with a switch on the fitting or without, depending on how you’d like it wired.

The Adderley works beautifully anywhere you want a layer of warmth: by the bedside, flanking a fireplace, in a cosy reading corner or lining a hallway. Because it uses a common E27 bulb, it’s easy to choose the brightness and temperature you want. And like all our wall lights, it’s dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from clear and bright to soft and atmospheric.

Pair two together either side of a bed, or use a trio to run along a landing for a clean, hotel-inspired look.

Can I use this light in a bathroom?

No — this version isn’t IP-rated, so it’s best for dry areas only.

What bulb does it take?

An E27 bulb, which means lots of choice — from warm LEDs to decorative filaments.

Is the arm adjustable?

Yes — tilt or rotate the arm to get your light in the perfect spot.

Do I need a wall switch?

You can go with a built-in switch or without, depending on how you’d like to control it.

Is it dimmable?

Absolutely — just pair with a dimmable bulb and compatible switch.
