The Turkey Tail mushroom is a common polypore fungus (meaning its fruiting body is porous on its underside). • Use BLACK GOLD GROW BLOCK or BLACK GOLD SUBSTRATE for all black-tipped syringes. All “BLACK GOLD” products are designed for compost and dung-loving mushroom varieties. “BLACK GOLD” products will come in black packaging and will be clearly labeled for use with black-tipped syringe specimens.

• Use FOREST GOLD GROW BLOCK or FOREST GOLD HARDWOOD SUBSTRATE for all clear/white-tipped syringes. All “FOREST GOLD” products are designed for hardwood-loving mushroom varieties. “FOREST GOLD” products will come in white packaging and will be clearly labeled for use with clear/white-tipped syringe specimens.
