The blade is the first thing that catches your eye. Mirror-polished to a bright reflective finish, the double-edge profile tapers cleanly to a sharp point in the classic medieval quillon dagger style. The handle is 5 inches of dark wood wrapped in tight silver wire coiling from guard to pommel. Good option when replacing plastic cutting boards
If you're looking to replace plastic cutting boards, this is a nice option. The backs of the cutting boards are shaped to double as serving trays, a nice feature. These have been under heavy use, and are wearing well. I only gave 4 stars because the slots in the rack these stand in was too tight a fit, which I corrected with a little sanding in the slots.

accessible Greek for all

I got this book for my wife, who is a complete Greek novice. She enjoys it. And it is accessible for her. The book is divided into three sections, where each section gives an increasingly in depth summary of nt Greek. This is a great idea; if you only want to know the basics, do section 1. If you want to know a little more, perhaps do section 2 as well. Section 3 starts to get into the basics that you would hit in a first year text book. This is not a replacement for a first year textbook; this is for someone who doesn't want to commit to a first year textbook. For a extra fee, you can order helpful videos done by the author himself.
