PROFILE

The ARM Audi A3 Catted Downpipe is an essential upgrade if you're looking to get the most from your Gen 3 EA888 equipped Audi.  The stock downpipe is built with a dense catalyst that hinders exhaust flow on your EA888 engine, causing higher back-pressure, increasing turbo lag and causing your turbo to work harder. 

Replacing your OEM downpipe with the ARM A3 Downpipe will significantly improve exhaust flow, reducing the back-pressure generated by your turbocharger.  The result of the increased exhaust flow is faster turbo spool, increased power and torque, and a nice improvement in exhaust note.    

In addition, the improved exhaust flow will allow you to run increased boost targets found with Stage 2+ tuning software.  Attempting to run Stage 2+ tuning files over 25psi with the stock downpipe can put excessive stress on your turbocharger and is not recommended.  Most tuners require an upgraded downpipe to run their more aggressive tunes.  

CONSTRUCTION

Made of TIG welded T304 grade stainless steel, the ARM A3 Downpipe is designed to fit your Audi A3 perfectly.  The ARM A3 Downpipe is constructed of a single piece design.  This solid-unit construction eliminates the exhaust leaks and installation issues commonly found with it's multi-piece downpipe counterparts. 

The laser-cut mounting bracket and CNC machined mounting prongs make for a precise fitment to your stock downpipe mounting points.  

The ARM A3 Downpipe kit comes with both a 2.5" reducer to connect to the stock exhaust system, and a straight 3" adapter to connect to upgraded cat-back exhaust systems.  This connection utilizes a CNC machined v-band system for connecting between the downpipe and adapter of your choice.  The v-band is a superior connection type compared to a slip-fit or bolt on connection as it maintains a more study and reliable seal between the two ends.  

The ARM A3 Catted Downpipe comes with a single 200 Cell High-Flow Catalyst to reduce emissions and exhaust odors commonly found with catless downpipes.  

If you're looking for a Catless Downpipe, we offer a catless version which incorporates a 4" Resonator in place of the catalyst. 

 

The ARM A3 Downpipe incorporates a stainless steel flex section between the turbo and mid-pipe mounting point.  The addition of this flex section reduces tension on the turbocharger caused from torsion during hard acceleration, cornering, and braking. 

The ARM MK7 Downpipe gives you an immediate improvement in turbo spool, power and torque.  Pairing the ARM MK7 Downpipe with a proper tune will yield gains up to 60whp and 105wtq on the stock IS20 turbocharger.

Close, but not quite as strong

These plates are very similar to the name brand that they look like. However the paper is slightly thinner, so for many things these act similarly, but for heavier things I found them to need more support from my hand because they flex a bit more. If I was using them for a party with heavy food I would definitely use paper plate holders with them. They seem to have the same coating to make them soak proof and that is a plus when I use them for food that's more moist or greasy. I find them fine for everyday use and the design is pleasant enough to look at. I will definitely check the pricing before buying to make sure it compares favorably given the slightly lesser strength.

Strong with high rim, makes for a great disposable plate

I really like these paper plates because the rim is so high. It’s definitely higher than many other plates that I’ve encountered. This helps food stay on the plate, no matter who is using it. The plates are super sturdy too. I can put heavy, wet foods on it (like a can of dog food) and hold it with one hand without it buckling or collapsing. The paper is thick, which helps add to the sturdy feel. The design is super basic. They are white with a simple design adorning the rim. They look like regular paper plates you might find at the grocery store.. except these are stronger. I think they’re a great value. I love using paper plates, since I don’t have a dishwasher. I often use them for my dogs wet food. The rim is high enough to keep all of the food on the plate, despite him moving it around a bit. The plate size is great too. They’re large enough to use as a dinner plate in my household. I’m happier with thee plates than I expected to be. I’ll take a super functional plate with a plain design over a “pretty” plate that flops in half when you carry food on it. Function over aesthetics for the win.

Sturdy and good quality paper plates

These 140 pack paper plates are exactly what I needed for my family party. The plates are Saturday, heavy duty and easy to handle lager portion of food without bending and leaking. I used them during a family gathering and the plates help up the salad and burger throughout serving lunch. The 10 inch size of the plates are just perfect for any occasion to serve enough food on them. Also with 140 plates I have enough to go around for several parties and I feel I still have more than enough. I like to used paper plates as the clean up afterwards is much easier also it will much more cost effective in long term.

Strong and durable.

I’m very impressed by these plates. I want to start by saying I use them mostly for my home cooking but these are strong and durable enough to be used at outdoor events and other social gathering. At 10in the plates are big enough to fit the whole meal, and with growing boys it is necessary to feed them full portions for their growing bodies. The design is nice and the plates are thick, there is also a coating on them. I prefer that because I often cook with gravies and sauces and if you want the sauces and juice to remain you need a coated disposable plate. Another positive is that because you can put bigger food portions because of the size, you also need the plates to hold up. These do exactly that. Even with heavy foods the plates remain firm and not flimsy. These are really good paper plates.
