2022 King Charles III 'Queen Elizabeth II' Memorial PIEDFORT 50p Gold Proof + Boxed / COA

The first official coinage of King Charles III commemorating the life and legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The 3 coins making up the memorial collection, issued 3rd October 2022 all carry the first portrait of His Majesty The King, created by British sculptor Martin Jennings. The King’s portrait faces to the left, the opposite to Queen Elizabeth II (right) as is traditional upon a new monarch's reign. The Latin inscription surrounding the effigy reads “• CHARLES III • D • G • REX • F • D translates to ‘King Charles III, by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith’.

The reverse of the 50 pence features a design that originally appeared on the 1953 Coronation Crown. It was struck to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation at Westminster Abbey. This design will be released into general circulation in the UK

Martin Jennings, Designer of His Majesty King Charles III’s effigy, said: “It is a privilege to sculpt the first official effigy of His Majesty and to receive his personal approval for the design. The portrait was sculpted from a photograph of The King, and was inspired by the iconic effigies that have graced Britain’s coins over the centuries. It is the smallest work I have created, but it is humbling to know it will be seen and held by people around the world for centuries to come.”

Pups have shown zero interest in these toys….
Color: Purple & Blue
I would agree that these are indestructible being neither of my dogs have shown any interest in these at all. At this rate they should last forever…

Durable but losses interest
Color: Purple & Blue
My dog is an aggressive chewer. She was interested in this toy while it was new, but soon after lost interest. Good news is although it took a beating it did not break or splinter. If soppy toys are disposable in your house, give it a try.

Not strong enough for chewing
My 7 month old pup chewed the end off, where the treats go, within 30 minutes of having it. Shes a Staffordshire terrior, but shes only 30 pounds. She swallowed some of the plastic so be careful if you buy this.

Durable and loved by my dog.
Color: Red - Bacon
I recently bought this toy for my German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix, and I can't express enough how much she adores it. The durability of the material is impressive; it withstands her enthusiastic chewing without showing any signs of wear and tear. Its size is perfect for her to carry around with ease, and it keeps her thoroughly entertained for hours. I've noticed that there’s no color transfer or degradation from her vigorous play, which gives me peace of mind. I can let her enjoy it without constant supervision, as I trust that she won't be able to chew off any little pieces that could pose a choking hazard. All in all, it's an incredible value for the quality, and I’ll definitely be purchasing another one for her in the near future.

Great, easy to chew toy!
Color: Orange - Maple Wood
Nice durable chew toy. My English Bulldog loves chewing the ends as well as the middle and the design is easy for him to hold with his paws as he chews
