Fitting and handling
Allow the mouldings to acclimatise indoors for at least 48 hours before fixing, keeping them flat and away from direct heat sources. Fix to a clean, dry wall surface using a suitable grab adhesive or panel pins at regular intervals, ensuring corners are pressed firmly for a tight mitre joint. Once fitted, apply one or two topcoats of your chosen interior paint over the existing primer for a durable, finished result.

Can I combine multiple kits to cover a full wall?
Yes. Each kit produces three panels measuring 1000mm x 420mm, so kits can be arranged side by side or in stacked rows to suit your wall dimensions. You can mix panel sizes from different kits in the Nottage Timber Merchants range for a more varied layout.
Do I need to prime or sand the mouldings before painting?
The mouldings are supplied with a white primer coat already applied, so they are ready for your topcoat straight away. A light sand with fine-grade paper before painting will give a smoother finish if needed.
What adhesive should I use to fit wall panel mouldings?
A solvent-free grab adhesive such as No More Nails or a similar decorator's adhesive is suitable for most plasterboard and plaster walls. On particularly uneven surfaces, supplementing with panel pins will help keep the mouldings flat while the adhesive sets.
