Colore giallo paglierino. Al naso dominano note di frutta matura impreziosite da toni tropicali. Al palato è fresco, snello ed equilibrato. Buona la persistenza.Vitigno originario delle colline pescaresi e delle valli che si dividono tra Marche ed Abruzzo, il pecorino porta a vini particolarmente freschi, caratterizzati da un'ottima mineralità e da una spiccata spalla acida, in particolare quando vinificati e lasciati maturare in solo acciaio. Vini, come nel caso dell’ottimo Abruzzo Pecorino DOC “Machaon” della cantina Ausonia, perfetti per la stagione estiva, ma ottimi anche in ogni altro momento.
Ottimo anche come aperitivo, si abbina bene ad antipasti, primi piatti e secondi a base pesce. Ideale anche in abbinamento a piatti molto leggeri a base di carni bianche.
