How Do I Use These Deep Drop Fishing Rigs?
- The top of each rig has a fixed loop with a stainless steel loop protector that is meant to attach to your mainline which will also allow you to clip your deep drop led light as well. We recommend to crimp / Tie a snap swivel on your mainline to attach your rig, this gives you the option to quickly switch out rigs if you get broke off or need to switch sizes.
- Each hook should be baited with fresh bait, such as a piece of squid or cut bait. The fresher the bait the better. Fresh bait tends to stay on the hook much better.
- The snap swivel at the bottom of the rig is for attaching your weight.
- You do not need an electric fishing reel for deep drop fishing, but it certainly helps and is recommended when bringing up 2-8 pound deep drop weight multiple times a day.
- Rinse your deep drop rig with fresh water after use and hang it up to dry.
