Rugged Pocket Crosses
Imperfect Hearts have been one of our most popular products since we launched them a few years ago—they’re great because they represent our imperfect hearts—how we’re all a work in progress. Everyone deserves another chance when they make a mistake.
Another of our all-time customer favorites is our Pocket Crosses. And while they’re made of the same reclaimed woods, we’ve always held them to a higher standard and have hesitated to sell “Imperfect” Pocket Crosses because the work of the cross is perfect. It’s why we all get second chances—every day, we’re becoming perfect through the redemptive work of the cross.
So these pocket crosses are indeed perfect—but they are also scarred and marred by the past. The wood we used to make them has imperfections, like nicks, scrapes, holes, scars, and other marks, all resulting from the role the wood played in its past as antique furniture. We’ve reclaimed this aged wood and fashioned it to serve a new purpose—to live a new life—to become Old Rugged Pocket Crosses.
So now you can literally cling to the old rugged cross 🎶 and be reminded of all it represents as you carry it daily. Let it be a token to anchor you as you contemplate your past failings and future glory when you exchange it someday for a crown.
About Rugged Pocket Crosses
Each cross was handcrafted with reclaimed wood. The styles and woods used for these crosses vary; each cross is one-of-a-kind. They are typically 1 ½ inches wide by 2 ¼ inches tall and ⅝ inches thick.
🎶 As an added bonus, each set of Rugged Pocket Crosses comes with a notecard with the lyrics to the classic hymn, The Old Rugged Cross.
