Your task is to construct Wind Turbines and connect them to Town tiles using Energy Cables, bringing light and life to your world. Wind Turbines have their own pinpoints and can be placed by using any Placement Token as a wild card, instead of placing the standard pawnjust like Gondolas in the Canals

The Energy Expansion introduces a fresh, strategic challenge as you build a renewable power grid to supply energy across your growing landscape. Your task is to construct Wind Turbines and connect them to Town tiles using Energy Cables, bringing light and life to your world.

Wind Turbines have their own pinpoints and can be placed by using any Placement Token as a wild card, instead of placing the standard pawn—just like Gondolas in the Canals Expansion or Lookout Towers in the Forest Expansion.

Once your turbines are up, you’ll use Energy Cables to connect them to Town tiles. These cables work differently from traditional routes: instead of running along the sides of tiles like Railways or Highways, they run across the corners. This clever twist adds a new layer of strategy, as a well-placed cable can connect up to three tiles to your power grid in a single move!

Wind Turbines don’t score points immediately, but at the end of the game, each Town tile you own earns 1 point for every 2 Wind Turbines connected to it. Smart placement of Town tiles and precise routing of cables are key to maximizing your network’s efficiency and scoring big.

The Energy Expansion also includes new Objective cards, such as the Solar Farm, which must be connected to Energy Cables on all four corners, and the Casino, which requires at least two electrified Town tiles nearby.
