600mg KSM-66® plus 200mg Theanine for legit calm

NutraBio Calm is a straight-up, no-blends stress helper with just three ingredients that each do their thing for chill and toughness: 600mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha, 200mg L-Theanine, and 100mg GABA. That's key because the calm supp world is full of weak mixes, heavy sleep knockouts, and labels hiding behind secret blends. This one flips that: one solid adaptogen dose (that's a herb that helps your body handle stress), one quick amino acid for instant calm, and one extra brain calmer to finish it off.

The star is 600mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha root extract, standardized to 5% withanolides (those are the active compounds). This dose shows up a lot in studies for everyday stress help, and KSM-66® is a top branded version. It's root-only, which is better than some that mix in leaves to boost numbers without real quality. You won't feel it right away—it's more about building up steadier vibes, better stress handling, and feeling in control when life's nonstop.

200mg L-Theanine is what hits first for most. It's a dose backed by research. In a study with stressed adults, 200mg cut down stress signs like faster heart rate and body responses during tough tasks. It promotes chill but alert vibes, like calm focus instead of sleepiness. That's why it's great for daytime: less brain buzz without shutting you down.

GABA is in at 100mg as gamma-aminobutyric acid, your body's main chill-out signal. The evidence base f

NutraBio Calm by NutraBio contains 600mg Ashwagandha Root Extract (KSM-66®), a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 600mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha — this gives the formula real muscle. It's not just tossed in for show; it's a solid dose of a trusted branded root extract that helps you handle stress better with daily use.
  • KSM-66® is root extract standardized to 5% withanolides. That's a big deal in ashwagandha world, where some stuff uses cheaper mixes to fake better stats instead of focusing on quality.
  • 200mg L-Theanine — a dose that lines up with studies and actually helps cut stress in people. For quick stress hits, this amount smooths you out without the brain fog folks worry about in calm supps.
  • L-Theanine kicks in fast, often same day. Most notice less tension and better chill, not sleepiness, so it's handy for work, studying, trips, or nights when you want to relax but keep going.
  • 100mg GABA layers on more calm for your nerves. Studies are lighter here than for theanine, but it makes sense and helps the overall relaxed feel.
  • Just three ingredients, no hidden blends. That's huge in stress supps, where tons hide weak doses in big lists and fancy names.
  • No stimulants at all. Even with some label mix-ups out there, this has zero caffeine or uppers, so it's great if you want calm without extra jitters or messing with your wind-down.
  • Made for daytime use. Not like those melatonin-packed sleepers; this is for staying even, steady moods, and easing out of stress while you keep moving.

Who Is This For?

  • Pros with nonstop brain work who need to stay chill without getting slow. 200mg L-theanine cuts acute stress edges while 600mg KSM-66® builds overall toughness.
  • After-work gym folks whose nerves stay amped post-day. No stims here, so it helps slide from wired to chill and ready to recover.
  • Students or desk jockeys with deadlines, racing thoughts, scattered days. L-theanine fits perfect for relax without the drowsiness that kills output.
  • Adults feeling stress in their body—tight spots, fidgety energy, constant tension—even when chilling. Theanine and GABA calm nerves, KSM-66® handles the ongoing stress quietly.
  • Folks who've tried jammed mood supps and want simple. Three actives, full doses shown—evaluate each instead of guessing on blends.
  • Newbies after easy stress help without melatonin or heavy sleep vibes. NutraBio Calm is basic to grasp but doses like ashwagandha and theanine make it count.

How to Use

Take 2 veggie capsules daily as your full serving. Consistency beats perfect timing since the main ingredient—600mg KSM-66® Ashwagandha—works best with everyday use. For work or study chill, morning or early afternoon; to wind down from a tough day, late afternoon or early evening. If sensitive, start with 1 cap for a few days, then go full. Capsules mean no mixing—just water. With or without food, but a light meal can help if your gut's picky. Pairs well with magnesium, sleep helpers, hydration, or wellness basics, and even coffee for smoother energy—but get caffeine separate. No need to cycle. Keep it cool, dry, lid tight.

What to Expect

In the first hour, L-theanine usually brings the first change: less brain grind, less sharpness, smoother calm without heavy sleepiness. No stim feel, so no buzz—just easy settling. First few days, figure if morning for chill or evening for unwind suits you. Days 1-7, theanine's the star you feel most, with GABA maybe adding subtle ease. By weeks 2-4, 600mg KSM-66® shines, since adaptogens build over time, not one dose. Then, stress feels less huge, your normal vibe evens out, not just short-term chill.

Key Ingredients

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the active ingredients in NutraBio Calm?

NutraBio Calm contains three disclosed actives per 2-capsule serving: KSM-66® Ashwagandha root extract at 600mg, L-Theanine at 200mg, and GABA at 100mg. There is no proprietary blend, so you can evaluate every ingredient and dose directly.

Is 600mg of KSM-66® Ashwagandha a strong dose?

Yes. 600mg is a serious daily dose and sits right in the range most informed users look for when they want an ashwagandha formula to do more than just decorate the label. It’s one of the reasons this product has real substance instead of reading like a generic mood blend.

How quickly will I feel NutraBio Calm?

Most of the same-day feel comes from the 200mg L-theanine dose, which is the ingredient most likely to create a noticeable calming effect relatively quickly. The 600mg KSM-66® ashwagandha works more cumulatively, with benefits building over consistent daily use rather than one serving.

Will NutraBio Calm make me sleepy?

Usually not in a heavy, sedative way. L-theanine is known more for calm alertness than for knocking you out, and the formula overall is better positioned as a composure and stress-support supplement than a sleep aid.

Does NutraBio Calm contain caffeine or stimulants?

No stimulant ingredients appear in the verified formula. The active panel is KSM-66® Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, and GABA only, so this is appropriate for users looking for calm support without caffeine.

Can I take NutraBio Calm with coffee or a nootropic?

Yes, many users can. In fact, L-theanine is commonly paired with caffeine because it helps smooth out the edgier side of stimulation, though the caffeine is not included in this product and would come from another source.

Should I use NutraBio Calm every day or only when stressed?

Daily use is the better strategy for most people because KSM-66® Ashwagandha is the foundation of the formula and works best when taken consistently. You may feel the theanine acutely, but the deeper value of the product comes from ongoing use.

Is the GABA dose high enough to matter?

At 100mg, GABA is best understood as a supportive part of the formula rather than the primary driver. The stronger evidence-backed pillars here are 600mg KSM-66® and 200mg L-theanine, with GABA helping round out the calming profile.

Is NutraBio Calm beginner-friendly?

Yes. The formula is simple, transparent, and stimulant-free, which makes it easy for new users to understand and assess. It’s a far cleaner starting point than multi-herb proprietary blends with unclear dosing.

Can I take NutraBio Calm at night?

Yes. If your goal is to unwind from a high-stress day, evening use makes sense and often fits the formula well. Just remember it is not a dedicated sleep product, so expect a calmer state rather than a melatonin-like sedative effect.

Lathers great for a small amount! A fair price for the amount and rich content. I just bought, used and love it. Definitely will purchase again. I love the sophisticated yet sensible smell doesn't overpower. In my perception it is a unisex scent as I am a woman and bought for myself.

Smells Like You Have Your Life Together
Scent: Bergamot, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Cremo Body Wash with Italian Bergamot, Neroli Blossom, and Fresh Vetiver smells far more expensive than it has any right to. The scent hits that sweet spot between fresh and refined. The bergamot gives it a clean citrus lift, the neroli adds a smooth floral edge, and the vetiver grounds it with a subtle, masculine depth that does not scream but absolutely speaks. The lather is rich and concentrated, so you only need a small amount. It feels more like something you would find in a boutique hotel than on a regular store shelf. The fragrance lingers just enough to be noticed without overpowering your cologne or filling the entire room. If you want to step out of the shower smelling like competence and quiet confidence, this one delivers. It is polished without trying too hard, and it makes everyday showers feel slightly upgraded.

Profound and timely
Format: Paperback
If I could give this book 6 stars I would. The way the world is right now, I needed to do a deep dive into anger. And I needed to see how God wants me to handle my anger. There were some very challenging and humbling parts to this book that I needed to hear. All the application questions at the end of each chapter helped me solidify what I learned and what I needed to evaluate personally. Which leads me to the statement that this book was deeply personal to me and I am grateful for the changes it’s helped me make to reflect God more and myself less.

Profoundly biblical and wise
Format: Paperback
David Powlison’s Good and Angry is a powerful book. In the book Powlison dives deep into what anger is and then gets very practical about how to biblically deal with your own anger issues (issues, he assures us, we all have). From the outset, Powlison makes it clear that anger, while dangerous, can be handled to produce good. “At its core anger is very simple,” Powlison says, “It expresses ‘I’m against that’” (39). Powlison says that each of us handles anger differently. Some of us freeze over, some of us quietly brood, some of us simmer, some of us explode. Powlison encourages us not to look at the way others mismanage worse than us, but rather, how do we mismanage anger? Each type has their own blind spots. Powlison then dives into anger itself. Anger is about our displeasure toward something, so what are we displeased with? And why? How are we justified? Unjustified in our anger? And what do I want to happen? Anger is physiological. As embodied beings, anger manifests itself in us physiologically. How is it impacting me when I’m angry? Powlison then dives into mercy, what he calls a constructive displeasure, or constructive anger. When the constructive displeasure of mercy is functioning as it ought, it has four characteristics: patience (a wonderful biblical synonym of patience is “forbearance”), forgiveness (which is “mercifully unfair” (80)), charity (a spirit of magnanimity), and constructive conflict (“Mercy is not a free pass. It is an invitation to turn and repent” (94). All of these fundamentally point to the work of God and his righteous response of anger to our rebellion. “The constructive displeasure of mercy means the redemption of the world” (102). Powlison walks through how God’s anger works: through his righteous and holy response to our sin, to him taking his wrath upon his son on the cross. He concludes, “God’s wrath is your hope. God’s wrath is my hope. We don’t often hear that, but it appears everywhere in the Bible. Wrath is our hope because love masters anger” (121). The final portion of the book steps back and helps us move through analyzing our own anger. Powlison uses James 4:1-12 to help us analyze our own anger issues. At the heart of this analysis is James’s own analysis of his hearer, that they are fighting and quarrelling because of their “desires that battle within” them. In other words, if we have an anger problem (which we all do), we have a malformed desire problem. In other words, we have a heart problem. Significant in digging into this question is the ability to analyze my own motives. The issue isn’t what has happened with me, but is my heart and my heart’s motives and desires in the midst of any given situation. Key questions to ask myself when in a moment of anger are: “what do I want?” “what do I fear?” and “what do I most love?” (154-55). Powlison concludes with a strong word of hope. God is in the process of changing us and reshaping our heart. Our problem, Powlison says, is that we tend to talk to the wrong person in the midst of our anger – ourselves. But when we turn and talk to our Good Shepherd, we will experience hope and change. I’m so grateful for Powlison's Good and Angry. It is a profoundly biblical and wise book with both subtle and profound insights. I know I have been impacted by the book personally and will both turn to it in the future for personal use and as a resource for others who struggle with anger.
