Exclusively commissioned by The Regency Chess Company and made by Rechapados Ferrer of Spain, the chessboard construction utilises high-grade veneers, combining a beautifully rich palisander rosewood border and deep black anegre squares.
Complementing the black squares are light maple wood veneers that help create a starkly contrasting playing surface. The chessboard is finally finished in a deep gloss lacquer, which accentuates the wood grains. Perfect for accompanying chess pieces with king heights of 10.2 to 11.4cm.
