The Marilla® marks a modern chapter for Case® knives. This new one-handed opening knife features a 35VN stainless steel drop point blade with a stonewashed satin finish. The knife handle is made of durable, lightweight anodized aluminum and a textured black G-10 center inlay for a reliable grip. Its flipper design offers quick and reliable deployment with a simple flip of your index finger and snaps open on a ball bearing pivot. The frame locking mechanism secures the blade in position when fully opened. A reversible deep carry steel pocket clip allows for a comfortable, and versatile, pocket carrying experience. The Marilla name is shared with a local spring that's been a favorite spot for locals to explore and the knife is part of the first collection of Modern Everyday Carry knives to be made in our Bradford, PA factory.

    Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
    Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
