PondClear binds suspended algae (green water) and turbidities, such as clay particles, potting soil or other organic suspended matter. PondClear floculates these turbidity-causing particles. They can be removed more easily, for example, with the PondoVac pond vacuum, a close-mesh net or the filter system. In addition, the algae nutrient, phosphate, is reduced at the same time.
Dosage:
100ml of PondClear is adequate for 2000 litres of pond water. Mix the required quantity with 10 litres of tap waterand ditribute over the surface of the pond using a spray attachment. Clean with filter before and after use. Skim off the resulting flocculation as otherwise there may not be an adequate supply of oxygen. If there is no effect, increase the dosage by 50% to 100%. A pH value of between 6.5 and 9.5 (QuickSticks) and a carbonate hardness > 3o dKH are required for safe application. Immerse the test strips provided briefly, shake lightly and read after one minute. Add OptiPond before and after use at KH < 3o dH.
