Петро Лущик (нар. 1963 р.) — український письменник, автор історичних романів, лауреат літературного конкурсу 'Коронація слова'. Після закінчення фізичного факультету Львівського університету ім. Івана Франка працює вчителем, поєднуючи педагогічний досвід із літературною майстерністю.

У 'Галицькій сазі' автор знайомить нас з історією мешканців галицького села Перетин. 'Велика війна' — перша книга, події якої розпочинаються з Першої світової війни, що докорінно змінила мирне життя селян. Одні йдуть до лав австрійської армії чи Українських січових стрільців, інші зазнають лиха в окупації. У другій книзі, 'Тінь незалежності', герої потрапляють у вир боротьби за Галичину між ЗУНР, Польщею та більшовиками. Кровопролиття не припиняється, а майбутнє краю вирішується в кабінетах великих держав. Третя частина, 'Примара миру', охоплює 1923—1928 роки: Галичина опиняється під владою Польщі, що супроводжується утисками українців. Перетинці шукають шлях у новій реальності, та попереду ще важчі випробування.

У видавництві 'Фоліо' також вийшли друком інші твори Петра Лущика.
