Anthurium Rosè Ember x Èclat Rouge

Introducing a striking new cross combining Rosè Ember with Èclat Rouge, focused on pushing colour, contrast, and depth. This pairing brings together two highly expressive plants, with strong potential for vibrant emergents and richly toned mature foliage. A limited and exciting release for collectors.

Seeds have been freshly harvested, and you will receive seeds from this initial batch. Availability is limited.

Mother Plant

The mother plant is Anthurium Rosè Ember.

A hybrid of two DB plants, Rosè Ember carries tones reminiscent of Wonderboy A, with beautifully coloured emergents in a rose pink shade. One of its standout qualities is how well this colour holds as the leaf matures, maintaining vibrancy far longer than typical hybrids. A plant selected for its strong colour expression and consistency.

Pollen Donor

The pollen donor is Anthurium Èclat Rouge.

A super select crystal-based hybrid consisting of Wonderboy, Tezula RC, Purple Crystal, and Doc Block RC. Known for its intense magenta emergents that hold well into maturity, paired with silver splash veining and foliage that deepens into an exceptionally dark tone over time. It is widely regarded for its unique combination of colour and contrast, standing out even among high-end collector plants.

Expectations

This cross is all about colour. Expect a wide range of vibrant emergents, from rose pink to deep magenta tones, combined with the potential for darker mature foliage and striking venation. With both parents known for holding colour well, there is strong potential for unique, highly collectible expressions.

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Excellent Details
Format: Kindle
If you're like me, you've probably either never heard of these cases or heard about them in only the broadest of strokes. For remedying that, this book is excellent. Thomas provides a detailed account of how these complaints came to be, how they wended their way through the cases, and why they are important in terms of outcome and legal precedent. This is a book that I'm glad to have read and one that I would highly recommend to others.

engrossing, revealing, shocking, fascinating -- 10 gritty women who won big cases at great personal loss
Format: Kindle
Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.

Entertaining, personal history of landmark cases
Format: Hardcover
Amazing look behind the scenes at the people (plaintiffs and lawyers) who made equality for women at work a reality. Compelling, heartwarming, and educational - should be required reading for anyone who holds a job in 21st century America - both to learn how far we've come and to see the ways in which we need to continue the fight for equality at work.
