The sudden death of New York artist Dash Snow in July 2009, just weeks before his 28th birthday, sent a profound shock through the contemporary art world. While tragic, his passing followed a life lived at an unrelenting intensity. From his late teens onward, Snow used photography - most notably Polaroids - to chronicle his days and nights of excess, capturing moments he often claimed he might not otherwise remember. As these photographs began circulating in exhibitions in the early 2000s, Snow quickly rose to art-world prominence alongside peers such as Dan Colen and Ryan McGinley. Together, they helped define a raw, diaristic photographic language rooted in youth, freedom, recklessness, and self destruction - an era later remembered for its speed, volatility, and abandon. Published in 2013, Dash Snow: I Love You, Stupid brings together Snow’s iconic Polaroids, many of which were previously available only in costly, limited editions. The book unfolds as a fragmented visual memoir: friends passed out on beds, couches, sidewalks, and floors; fleeting scenes of intimacy, drug use, boredom, and exhilaration; spontaneous adventures in cars, bathtubs, pools, subway cars, apartments, rooftops, and boardwalks. Featuring 430 color reproductions, this monograph stands as the most comprehensive and accessible record of Snow’s work to date - an unfiltered document of a life lived at full volume. Content Warning: This book contains explicit imagery, including sexual content and depictions of drug use. Viewer discretion is advised. Condition: 4/5. Some signs of natural aging and slight discoloration on the very top of the cover (see first photo)Shipping Notes

Don’t waste your money
Don’t even waste your money on the product, rusted and chipped paint but they still sent it out, I thought hmm I can just touch up the paint and make it work but once I put together the metal pieces didn’t even line up correctly. Might as well spend a few extra bucks and get a better one. Now that I’m trying to get it apart to return the screws I BARLEY tightened are stripped.

Needs to be sturdier.
The posts aren’t as sturdy as they should be. Don’t know if it’s the screws or the openings.

Perfect earring tree
Color: Bronze
I was so tired of fumbling through a handful of tangled earrings in my jewelery box every morning - went looking for something to organize them and found this lovely tree. Since I am a admirer of all things bird, the design appealed to me. I was a bit worried it might be too garish, but was pleasantly surprised. The burnished copper-like finish is quite nice, and the embossed designs on the trunk and leaves give it a three-dimensional look. The nest is sturdy and holds my rings and bracelets, and I could hang necklaces from the branches (but I have another place for those.) I was worried it would be too large for my counter top - it is 17" tall x 15" wide - but it works well as a decorative piece. The sturdy base (7"x3") provides stability. Lots of holes for earrings and works just as well for dangles as for posts. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. It came in a sturdy box and only one leaf was slightly crimped, which was easy to gently bend back into shape. And best of all - no more tangled mess of wires and hoops to sort out each morning!
