Original Prusa MINI Enclosure makes printing from certain materials easier, and at the same time, it adds a lot of other benefits. The Enclosure can be equipped with useful add-ons for increased safety and user experience, such as the Advanced Filtration System (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency) which helps to reduce odors from certain materials and prevents the spread of ultra-fine particles (UFPS) into the air. You can also install an LED Strip to illuminate the print area, a mechanical lock to ensure proper printer security in public spaces, a fire suppression system, and various free add-ons you can download from Printables.com.

Everything is included in the package including plastic parts, you don’t need to print anything on your own. The only exception is the orange handles (seen in some photos). A 3D printer is not a part of the package.

• Print Advanced Materials: The Enclosure creates a stable printing environment with increased temperatures, shielding the printer from drafts and blasts of cold air. This is perfect for printing demanding high-temperature materials otherwise prone to warping - such as PC Blend, Nylon, PP, and more. It also prevents dust build-up on moving parts, which helps keep the printer running and reduces the frequency of maintenance required.
• Safety Features: Install an optional lock to prevent unauthorized access to your 3D printer - an ideal solution for schools, hackerspaces, and other public places. An optional filtration system (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency) prevents the spread of ultra-fine particles (UFPS) and reduces the odor when printing from certain materials. The MINI Enclosure also lowers printer noise and covers every moving part of your printer, increasing its safety.
• Upgradable and Expandable: The Enclosure can be upgraded and expanded with official add-ons (both paid and free) and is also ready for your DIY projects. You can design your own brackets, holders, and other accessories to tailor the Enclosure exactly to your needs or download finished ones on Printables.com.
•  High-Quality Components: The frame and the top and bottom panels are made from metal, the side panels are made from PETG plastic. The frame features mounting elements for installing various add-ons and tidy cable management.

Includes

• The basic package contains: All components required to build the Enclosure (frame parts, transparent side panels, top and bottom panels, mounting material, printer frame brace), temperature sensor, and documentation. Handles and optional 3D-printed accessories seen in some photos are not included in the package.
• The kit with all optional add-ons includes the above PLUS: 
  • Advanced Filtration System: The filtration system is useful when you print materials such as PC Blend and other materials that produce odour and particles during printing. 
  • White LED Strip: You can install an optional white LED strip into the Enclosure to light up your 3D printer. The strip is powered by a separate PSU which will be added to your order automatically.   
  • Mechanical Lock: A standard mechanical lock that fits in the door of the Enclosure, so you can keep your 3D printer safely locked. It’s a great option for schools, universities, hackerspaces, and other institutions and businesses.
