Despite its exotic appearance, it is a hardy and relatively easy plant to care for.
Light: Epiphyllum ‘Red Tip’ prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle morning or late afternoon sun, which may enhance the red colouring on the tips, but avoid strong midday sunlight that could scorch the stems.
Water: Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings. Epiphyllum prefer slightly more moisture than desert cacti, so water thoroughly when the soil begins to dry, ensuring excess water can drain away. Reduce watering during winter when growth slows.
