Collector Bookstore Notes

Describes the entire range of M1 Garand production on a part-by-part basis, by serial number & manufacturer. Includes quick-scan charts-dimensions, markings, finishes, changes, more.

Publishers Description

The most famous of all American battle rifles, the M1 Garand is described on a part-by-part basis, by serial number range and manufacturer. From the gas trap rifles through the M1C, M1D and MC 1952 Sniper, National Match, Navy 7.62 x 51 mm NATO, British, Danish, and all lend lease rifles, the text and illustrations have been up dated and new information added.

This revised and expanded guide to the "greatest battle implement ever" (General George Patton) describes the entire range of M1 Garand production in text and quick-scan charts-dimensions, markings, finishes and changes by serial number range-in the manner our customers have come to expect from North Cape Publications, Inc. Any Garand can be analyzed in minutes to determine if it is "as manufactured" or to replace parts or rebuild the rifle to return it to its original condition and increase its collector's value. Every part by each of the four manufacturers-pre-World War II, World War II and post-War II-is analyzed and described. The book also provides the most complete analysis yet of the World War II M1 Garand as well as the M1C, M1D and MC 1952 sniper rifles. Included is a thorough discussion of their telescopic sights and mounts to pinpoint which one is correct for a particular period. The U.S. Navy's 7.62 x 51mm NATO rifles, all British, Danish, and other Lend-Lease M1 Garands are described. A classification structure for National Match Rifles has been devised which permits the collector to first determine whether or not a particular M1 Garand is a National Match rifle, and then to determine when it was assembled. We have also included the War Department's World War II list of subcontractors and the markings. This will aid in identifying correct, World War II parts.

Excellent device, see my use case in the review.
Color: Grey
I got the hub in two days ago. I plugged it in to a uni-directional HDMI cable (I have used these for years from Monoprice.com) from the hub to the TV and the PD port into the charging block. Charging started but the iPad Pro screen was NOT showing on the TV. I switched in a regular HDMI cable from the hub to the TV and it worked. The Monoprice cables have some sort of logic in the cable ends allowing a very thin HDMI cable. I have used these on my TVs at home and when teaching at a senior facility for at least 8 years now. So, something with the unidirectional HDMI cables seems to interfere with this hub but “regular” HDMI cables seem OK. Before buying this hub, I had emailed Anker TS with a question. Anker turned around 3 emails with answers in just over an hour. This is one of the reasons why I have bought quite a lot of Anker products over the years. My use for this is to plug in my iPad Pro to my AVR so that I can stream stuff to my TV while simultaneously charging the iPad at the same time. This works well.

Works great and handles everything.
Color: Black
Works great. I plug in a standalone video camera for meetings, a keyboard & trackball, and monitor with a couple of other slots open, like for a portable CD-ROM/DVD player. One plug into the laptop and everything is connected. Initially, I bought another hub, but that one didn't consistently work. This one does. In a month of heavy use, I've had no issues with it at all.

Helped transfer data from Samsung Galaxy S21 with broken screen.
Color: Black
Helped me transfer data from a Samsung Galaxy S21 with broken screen. Simple put USB C end into phone , grab HDMI cable and plug into hub , then plug HDMI end into a monitor. Then grab a wireless keyboard & mouse and plug dongle into hub. Your phone will output to monitor and you can transfer data via Smart Switch using keyboard & mouse. Will only work if phone is unlocked I found on S21.

Great Slim iPad Case – Secure Fit & Easy to Use
Color: Black, Size: ipad 9th/ 8th/ 7th gen 10.2 inch, Color: Black, Size: ipad 9th/ 8th/ 7th gen 10.2 inch
This is a really nice iPad case and worked perfectly as a replacement for my old one that was falling apart. I have an Apple iPad 9th Generation (10.2 inch), and this case fit perfectly. The cutouts for the camera, volume buttons, power button, and charging port all line up exactly as they should. The iPad snaps into the case easily by gently pressing it into the rounded corners, and once installed it feels very secure with no slipping or falling out. The case is very lightweight also. I also had no issues accessing or using any of the buttons while the case was on. One of my favorite features is the automatic sleep/wake function—closing the cover puts the iPad into sleep mode, which helps save battery life. I chose the black version, and it has a clean, simple look. For the price, I think it’s a great value. Overall, this is a slim, functional, and well-fitting iPad case that I definitely recommend!
