Compressor Wheel
Garretts compressor wheel testing dictates 1 million cycles prior to introduction. This testing prevents issues such as low cycle fatigue (hub burst/ wheel splitting in half). A wheel may exceed life expectancy but is at risk for premature failure if reused. Analysis of failed rebuilt units show micro cracks in compressor wheel bores.
Solenoid Control Valve
The Solenoid Control Valve utilizes stricter control parameters to regulate oil flow through the unit. These controls minimize the amount of oil direct to the turbine end seal to reduce turbine seal leakage.
Turbine Wheel
The multiple cycles of the 6.0L application can cause high cycle fatigue of the turbine blades. When a 6.0L turbocharger is reworked it is unknown how many cycles are on the turbocharger which can lead to premature failure. Extended cycles can cause tip failures which can be mistaken for foreign object damage.
Center Housing
All new Garrett 6.0L Replacement turbos contain the up-dated center housing with a machined recess. The machined recess helps vent the moisture that could settle under the unison ring and minimize the corrosion in the contact area between the ring and housing. The machined recess allows toxic liquids to bypass the delicate variable geometry mechanism to reduce buildup and interface friction. Brand new units feature these upgrades for extended turbocharger life on 100% of all units.
Unison Ring
A brand new unison ring used with new vanes insures proper clearance thereby assuring superior turbo and engine performance. Eliminate problems associated with salvaged unison rings that increase side clearance with vanes that cause sluggish throttle response.
VNT Mechanism
The leading cause for replacement is corrosion within the VNT Mechanism. Operating conditions of the 6.0L engine cause the turbo VNT mechanism to wear significantly in a normal lifecycle. Rebuilt units that salvage the mechanism can shorten turbo life. All new parts solve these problems.
Variable Geometry Vanes
Typical high mileage vanes show extensive vane tab wear. Reuse of vanes can result in VNT mechanism malfunction. Garrett's all new aftermarket 6.0L turbocharger contains a new vane design with improved metallurgy for better performance and life. Remanufactured units may have slow vane response which can have performance and or emission implications.

Perfect buy!

This white denim jacket came today, and finally I bought the perfect jacket! It's actual denim, heavy but not too bulky.
It fits perfectly, I bought a large, it's white not off white, and it is EXACTLY what I was looking for!
I had to wait a week or two but it is definitely worth the wait! Beautiful jacket, well made and at a decent price!

Love denim and tired of cropped jackets?

I like this a lot, it was what I was looking for as far as I'm so over everything you buy these days is cropped. Cropped styles are great, but are kind of getting old for some things in my opinion. The jacket is big as far as how it fits. I am 5'8" about 180 and I wish I would have got a medium, I got a large.
The large is big and roomy enough that I could even wear ear a thick hoodie under it if I wanted to. However, the length is good as what I was looking for. The upper arms are large. However, this is a great quality denim jacket. Nice and thick, sturdy material (which I wanted).
It's also at a great, competitive low price even if it's not on sale. Don't believe me, go ahead and search jean jackets. You'll see a ton, but I looked too and the quality did not look as good as this and plus the other jackets were a lot more for a lot less. If you're looking for a longer jean jacket, I highly recommend this.
I'd say just think seriously about sizing down 1... even maybe 2 sizes. I would have gotten an XL before I read the other reviews. They recommended to size down, and after getting my jacket I could have sized down to a medium. I'm still happy with it and this is a jacket that is stitched well and will last a very long time.
As always though, that's just my 2 cents. :)

Nice quality, shape not for me

This was just too boxy for my body. Material was nice, quality jean material. Color was true to image. It was a little stiff but as you would expect with nice, new and unwashed denim.

Solid basic good denim jacket

In direct comparison to Levi’s women’s trucker denim jacket, this one is: slightly heavier denim, less stretchy, less fitted. I kept this one and returned the Levi’s because I wanted the roomier fit. I wish it was a little longer in the body: I’m tall, and it isn’t too short but I’d like a little more length. It feels slightly longer than the Levi’s. I wish the sleeves were longer too. They are probably just right for an average height or shorter person. The armholes could be smaller.
The medium wash is a nice medium blue, fairly even in tone. It doesn’t have a lot of stretch but it’s comfortable. The denim is substantial but not too stiff.
Overall, it’s a standard good quality denim jacket without any peculiar style elements or weird cut. It’s good!

Fabric way to heavy.

Cute, but material is WAY to heavy, like the heaviest duty denim I've ever seen. Wanted this to be a cute coverup. If you're needing something while breaking broncos or riding your motorcycle would probably be great. I kept it for a while because it was good quality and well made, but it ended up in the donation pile as I'd never wear this.
