For starters, it was Ford's first "go" at manufacturing their own diesel engine, dubbed the "Scorpion," and honestly, they knocked it out of the park. And for the performance enthusiasts, the truck can hit nearly 600 horsepower with sheer tuning, exhaust, and cold air intake upgrades. The two areas that have proven that need attention, though, are turbo and fuel delivery upgrades in order to support this kind of power. In terms of upgrading fuel deliver, AirDog has you covered with this fuel system that replaces the factory frame rail fuel pump.
The AirDog II-5G is an all in one premium fuel pump and filtration
system for your 2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke diesel. This system removes water,
particulates, and entrained air from the diesel fuel. The entrained air
that is separated from the fuel is returned to the tank through a small
return fitting. The fuel is delivered to the engine at the correct
pressure and flow rate to meet the demands of the engine under all
operating conditions.
The AirDogII-5G
DF-165 systems feature a built in adjustible diaphragm pressure
regulator. All AirDog II-5G systems include a complete installation kit.
The AirDog II-5G, for this particular application, is preset at 65
psi from the factory for a stock application. The regulator is adjustible up
to 75 PSI so
you can fine tune the system to perfectly match up to your
current and future performance upgrades.
HOW IT WORKS:
The
AirDog II-5G DF- 165 draws fuel from the fuel tank. The fuel is then drawn
through the water separator where 92% of water is removed per SAE spec
1488. It is then pressurized through a Gerotor pump and sent to the 2
micron fuel filter before it is sent to the injection pump. The air from
aerated fuel, due to tank sloshing and engine return lines, is
separated and sent back to the tank through the 3/8” return fitting. The
excess fuel that the engine does not use is recirculated through the
diaphragm regulator back to the suction side of the pump.

Comfortable and stylish

I'm very pleased with these shoes. I rarely write reviews, but these are extremely comfortable and stylish. I bought a black pair and a brown paid. Many times I have to get a wide, but the standard size 12 fits me well. Easy to slip into, yet still snug while walking.
I feel like the price is reasonable too.

Good looking shoe.

It's a good looking should which is true to size. Quality is good. However, it is not leather. Inner and outer covering are man made. For me, it's okay. I ordered a 9W which I knew would be no more than a triple E width. I'm actually a quadruple E width so it's taking a little longer to break in. I won't be using these as often as at this stage of my life, I don't have that have functions that require dressier shoes. I'm happy with this purchase, a good value for the price. The slip in feature works well like my Sketcher slip in.
