Expert quality XP1000®, manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. Induction-hardened jaws provide better gripping performance as well as an effortless clean cutting edge. Internal knurled long nose head for ease of pulling wires and working in confined spaces. The precision machined pivot pins allow smooth one-handed operation and minimum play for ease of use. A two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle allows maximum grip and user comfort, and horns prevent slipping onto live conductors. Tested to 10,000V, these pliers are suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The handle also incorporates a tethered fixing solution to comply with Work at Height Regulations (lanyard Stock No. 82474 and wrist strap Stock No. 03740 sold separately). Maximum cutting capacity: 1.6mm.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
