Construction & Installation
CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance. Mount includes all necessary screws for light body attachment. Installation requires IP27/T27 and IP20/T20 Torx drivers (not included). For Surefire Scout Lights, a T9 Torx driver removes the stock Picatinny mount. Recommended torque specifications: 20 inch lbs for light body, 30 inch lbs for clamping screw. Apply low to medium strength threadlocker (Loctite 222 or 243) to fasteners.
