I loved designing this British Shorthair place mat here by hand in my small UK based studio — the British Shorthair is one of my first and favourite cat designs, that wonderfully round face and those big eyes... a very cute cat, with a huge personality. My place mats are all made here in the UK, in small sustainable quantities, sturdy mats, made from thick eucalyptus hardboard and cork backed (for no slippage!) with a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — practical as well as beautiful!
