Will they fit my 1953 Split-Window?
No. The 1953 Beetle uses a different cap design even though the car is still Split-Window. These are 1949–1952 only.

Do they come with hardware?
No. Hardware is not included. Reuse your original bolts if serviceable, or source period-correct replacements.

Is the powder coat a show-quality finish?
The semi-gloss black is a clean, durable, factory-appearance finish suitable for driver-quality and most show-quality restorations. For concours-level work, some builders prefer to strip and refinish to their own spec — these are a strong starting point either way.
