ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A book about how collective emotions explain the direction of a continent, Latin America.

In all societies, as in people, there is a tension between what Baruch Spinoza called "sad emotions" and gentle or placid emotions. Each country tends towards one pole or the other, and this defines its cultural identity. Some nations have leaned too far into unhealthy feelings, especially in the realm of politics.

This is the case of Latin America, a region that has suffered too many conflicts that could have been resolved but ended in war, projects truncated by disputes, good laws that were not enacted because of the inability to reach agreements, or sensible leaders who were lost because of their pettiness. All these sorrows would have been easier to overcome if they had not been poisoned by the furies of politics, by the emotional enclosure of spirits.

This book explores the history of the Latin American continent based on emotions and shows how this perspective allows a better understanding of its problems: violence, corruption, lack of social unity, the inefficiency of the State, non-compliance with laws and the difficulties in consolidating democracy. Thus, Mauricio García Villegas analyzes the role that pain and hatred have played in the social and political affairs of Latin America.

Smells so good and very moisturizing and not sticky
It smells so good! It’s also pretty glittery and sparkly. I’m usually not a fan of using body oil because I don’t like the stickiness of it on my body, but this body oil is very good! I’ve been mixing this body oil with my regular non-scented lotion(cerave moisturizing cream) after I shower before bed. Though by the time I wake up the next morning, the scent is gone. It’s not necessarily a bad thing since the scent can be a little bit strong when first applied, but overall it’s not too overwhelming and it’s perfect! I really enjoy using this body oil gel!

Teaaa Baby
This shimmer gel oil is teaaaa on your body. It smells good when combined with a cologne of your choice. It’s non-greasy, moisturizes the skin good and of course gives you that glow on your body needs. You must buy this.

I was DISAPPOINTED
I was very excited to try this bc of the shimmer and glow and bc I’m a vanilla scent girly and I was disappointed bc it didn’t smell anything like vanilla However, I like the smooth body gel feel it wasn’t heavy and thick so that was a plus for me My bottle wasn’t wrapped or taped to prevent leaking bc when I removed it from the package I could tell something happened because there was no leaking in the bag it was just on the top where you squeeze it and almost 2 inches was gone from the bottle so I was disappointed bc the bottle is small anyways and for the price I want a full bottle bc normally when I order lotions or body creams they’re packaged with some extra care and this package wasn’t 😔

Love this subtle shimmer rose bronze very moisturizing &thicker
Beautiful color shimmer & sleek shine. Can be subtle or apply more to get a oil look. Smells a little bit like coconut which I don't love if Im wearing perfume. Its a beautiful bronzey pink subtle shimmer. Not glitter & reapply to be a oiled goddess. Works perfectly on my light-med skin tone. Definitely a great summer find. And it is moisturizing & a pretty sheen.

Love the smell and great for my skin
This has become a permanent part of my shower routine. I use it right after I turn the water off while I am still wet, I cover my entire body from the neck down using about 8-10 pumps. I will wrap my body in a towel and finish getting ready (brush teeth, face moisturizer and blow drying hair) and then I will gently rub the towel everywhere incase there is any excess oil after it had the time to absorb into my skin. I dont think it leaves any greasiness at all, its really lightweight. What I love most of all is the smell though. A very nice, light, sweet vanilla smell lingers on your skin until your next shower. You have to put your nose pretty close to your skin to smell it so you wont be bothering anyone who had scent sensitivities. I have been using this for almost a year now and I still keep bringing my forearm to my nose to smell my skin because I love it so much. My skin has improved so much since I started using this.
