Connection is simple, with one end plugging into the 5-pin radio port of a mobile radio, and a 3.5mm plug into the recording device. For recording with a handheld, a different cable is recommended. This cable can also capture intercom, GPS instructions, and radio with the right cable. Additionally, audio from a Rugged intercom, two-way radio, and the Rugged handheld radio can also be recorded into a GoPro or digital recorder. This cable is also compatible with the 6100 intercom and radio and can record turn-by-turn navigation audio from an iPad or GPS device.
