DESCRIPTION
Introduced at Basel World 2018, the 116659SABR defied expectations by being the first Submariner that employed the use of gemstones while still emitting the same elegance and functionality the Submariner has been known for. The 116659SABR has a case made of white gold that has a screw-down crown and back with diamond set end pieces and crown protector. The bezel is just as functional as any classic diver™s bezel. It is set with 27 dark blue baguette-cut sapphires and 11 baguette-cut diamonds and is rotatable with graduations for decompression times. The case and crown are set with 92 brilliant-cut diamonds, giving a total of 3.90 carats of sapphire and 1.72 diamond carats. The dial is a dark blue sunray with index hour markers and a date window at 3-o-clock. The 116659SABR is powered by the self-winding 3135 calibers with date functionality and a power reserve of 48 hours. The luxurious case is paired with a white gold oyster bracelet with a fold-over of the bracelet. It has a water resistance of 300 meters (1,000 feet).
