Highly purified type I Collagen
Gide Plug® Collagen Wound Dressing is made from high-purity natural type 1 collagen extracted from bovine tendon tissue.
Sufficient porosity [1]
The type-1 collagen plug is the least complex filling material that can be used for the management of alveolar ridge preservation.
The pure type-1 collagen plug Gide Plug® has sufficient porosity for post-operative blood penetration and promotes socket wound healing by stabilising the blood clot in the extraction socket, covering the extraction socket and forming new granulation tissue.
