ROMAN EMPIRE

Galerius, AD 305-311  BI Nummus

Issue as Caesar.Roman Age of Chaos

CERTIFIED BY NGC

Obverse : features a laureate portrait of the Emperor, framed by an inscription of his name and title.

Reverse : Galerius' Nummi frequently depicts Genius, with the inscription "GENIO POPV L I ROMANI," which means "The genius of the Roman people." The Genius was thought to be a protective male spirit, similar to a guardian angel. The image symbolizes the role of the Emperor as protector of his people.

Galerius held the position of co-Emperor
from A.D. 293-311, in the first and second Tetrarchies of the Roman Empire, as
Caesar from A.D. 293-305, and as Augustus from A.D. 305 until his death in A.D.
311. Galerius is responsible for ending the Diocletianic Persecution of
Christians with the issue of an edict of toleration in A.D. 311. This Roman
Nummus of Galerius was struck from billon, which is a base metal of bronze,
lightly plated with silver.

Galerius, in full Gaius Galerius Valerius
Maximianus, (born, near Serdica, Thrace [now Sofia, Bulg.]—died 311), Roman
emperor from 305 to 311, notorious for his persecution of Christians.

Galerius was born of humble parentage and had a distinguished military career.
On March 1, 293, he was nominated as caesar by the emperor Diocletian, who
governed the Eastern part of the empire. Galerius divorced his wife and married
Diocletian’s daughter, Valeria. After ruling from Egypt from 293 to 295,
Galerius assumed command of defensive operations against the Sāsānians in 297.
After being defeated, he then won a decisive victory that increased his
influence with Diocletian. Galerius next proceeded to the Balkans and won
numerous victories in the region. A staunch pagan, he persuaded the emperor to
initiate the persecution of the Christians at Nicomedia in 303.

Divider doesn’t work
Color: Stainless Steel
Size is great. Quality is great except for the divider, which doesn’t work at all. It’s too loose and doesn’t stay on

LOVE MY SINK CADDY!
Color: Black
This caddy is such a game changer for my kitchen. It keeps everything neat and in one place AND no more clutter around the sink! I can fit my soap, sponges, and brushes easily, and it still looks nice on the counter. The drying base really works too! It absorbs water fast and doesn’t get gross like other trays I’ve had. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip, and even looks kind of decorative. Definitely worth it!

Great product.
Color: Black
I love it. Good design , well made and very large capacity. Easy to assemble. Keeps my counter free from cleaning items and drys out my sponge so it doesn’t get mildew. It’s very stable , not flimsy at all. Great price too.

Great Sink Caddy
Color: Black, Color: Black
Great size and you can configure it to accommodate a range of soaps and gadgets. The brush holder can be moved to the outside for more storage area in the main basket. The little divider adjust across the wires and it stays in place. The stone bottom absorbs drips quickly and I haven’t noticed any discoloration on it. It stays in place on the sink edge. Perfect for my organization needs and keeps the area neat vs tossing the brushes on the ledge leaving water marks on the counter. It was packaged well and the coating seems good! I bought a cheaper one and it came bent, with the coating popped off in several places. This one is worth paying a little bit more for the quality!
