This mat was originally woven in Central Anatolia, Turkey up to 60 years ago and is perfect for use in entry ways, in front of the sink in the kitchen or beside a bed etc. The original, strong reds and blues in this piece have been softened by careful washing and sun fading and the pile has been reduced reduced to produce the faded / distressed “Vintage Antique Look” so popular at this time.
