Featuring their noted hallmarked of [ 1 AR] showing them as the first registered jeweller in Arrezo Italy. The hallmark style tells me these were made after 1968 and likely 1980s. The moulded geometric design is aztec like and the patina on these is just perfection! Thankfully

The moulded geometric design is aztec like and the patina on these is just perfection! Thankfully the hoops are hollow otherwise my ears would be on the floor! Lovely vintage condition with tight clasp, the hinges are a little loose, but it doesn't affect the security of the clasp.

The Italian Jewellery house Unoaerre was founded in Arezzo in 1926 by the two founding fathers Carlo Zucchi and Leopoldo Gori. The name Unoaerre is derived from the fact that they were the first registered Goldsmiths in the Arrezo province. Their punch or Hallmark was 1 (Uno) followed by the star and AR for Arrezo so the company was named Uno Aerre to celebrate this fact. Throughout generations, goldsmiths and artists have made Unoaerre one of the main producers of gold jewellery in Italy and know for their high quality.
