Schley 87300 has been designed to allow for the easy removal and installation of the shock-retaining nuts used on most front-wheel drive Volkswagen & Audi.

Removal of the lower nut is difficult as it is round on the outside and only has a slot across the top for gripping. The shock shaft can also rotate and must be held from turning when the nut is removed or installed.

Features

  • Schley 87300 has a slot drive to fit the slot in the top of the lower retaining nut and a hole through its center to allow an Allen wrench to hold the shock from turning.

  • Necessary to replace strut cartridges.

  • These tools are made from heat-treated steel and come in an SP High Tech black finish.

Id give it a 4.5 star only because the holes weren't well rounded on the interior were they punch through the mold to make the holes. Other than that I tested if it holds full of water and all seals work. The fix: grab a knife scrap the inside ring and it will fall off. If you want a more perfect feel (not rough) heat up a flat head or screwdriver that has a round stem and use that after heating to lightly melt the plastic to smoothen it out. I didnt do 2nd part dont care. Great size, will fit under motorcycles easily like my 04 zx10r.
