Complete 5-Speed Front Axle Refresh Kit for GC, GD, SF, SG, BC, and BD.

This kit combines the two most critical "wear-once" components in the Subaru front-end assembly. Whether you are replacing a CV axle, changing a wheel bearing, or pulling the gearbox, this hardware ensures your axles are locked to the hubs and the transmission with factory precision.

Kit Includes:

  • (2) Drive Shaft Hub Nuts: High-grade steel nuts designed to be staked into the axle keyway for a permanent mechanical lock.

  • (2) 5-MT Front Driveshaft Roll Pins: Precision spring-steel pins that secure the inner CV joint to the gearbox stub shaft.

Why This Kit is Mandatory:

  • Safety-Critical Locking: Subaru hub nuts are non-reusable. Once the shoulder is staked into the axle groove, the metal is fatigued. Using a new nut ensures the correct torque is maintained and the wheel bearing remains pre-loaded.

  • Vibration-Free Driveline: A fatigued Roll Pin can lead to "slop" at the gearbox output, causing a subtle drivetrain shudder. These fresh pins provide the high-tension interference fit required for 5-speed manual gearboxes.

  • Anti-Seize Engineering: Our hardware is coated to resist the harsh Australian road environment, ensuring that while they lock tight now, they won't require a blowtorch to remove in the future.

Fitment & Compatibility

This kit is tailored for models equipped with the 5-Speed Manual Transmission (5MT) and standard front hubs:

  • Subaru Impreza / WRX: GC8 (1994–2000), GD (2001–2007)

  • Subaru WRX STI: GDF (2001–2005 5-speed variants)

  • Subaru Forester: SF (1997–2002), SG (2003–2008)

  • Subaru Liberty: BC & BD (1989–1998)

When installing the Roll Pin, ensure the chamfered end is facing the hole. Use a 5mm (3/16") pin punch to drive it home until it is flush. For the Hub Nut, always use a calibrated torque wrench to hit the factory spec (typically 190-210 Nm depending on the model) before using a hammer and drift to stake the flange into the axle slot.

My paper bowls of choice.
Size: 50 Count
I have been a return buyer of these bowls and amazon basics plates, as they are sturdy and well made, even for liquids. I think there is a generous quantity for the price. I use for my to go meals on the way to work, so I dont have my whole kitchen accumulating in my car. They are good sized and you can fit a decent serving. Will keep buying.

Sturdy paper bowls, economical quantity purchase
Size: 300 Count
I previously bought 50 (?) of the paper plates to check the quality and see how well they hold up before making quantity purchases of other paper products. The bowls hold up well though I use them primarily for cut up avocados, sliced tomatoes, cole slaw, etc. I have used them in the microwave under 15 seconds to reheat toasted English muffins with marmalade with no problem. I use Pyrex glass bowls in the microwave for veggies and soups, so I am unable to speak on how well the bowls hold up with hot foods in the microwave. I resisted buying and using paper bowls and plates for a long time; however, with my 80th birthday fast approaching, the fewer dishes I have to wash means less time standing on my feet. I am an experienced shopper, and these quality paper products bought in bulk are the best buy I have found. I recommend them.

Strong and very convenient
Size: 50 Count
These paper bowls are sturdy and hold up well even with hot or liquid foods. They don’t get soggy easily and are microwave safe, which makes them very convenient. The size is also great for soups, cereal, or leftovers. Good quality for disposable bowls and very practical for everyday use.

Sturdy, great value, very utilitarian
Size: 50 Count
Exactly what I wanted. Exact quality thickness and sturdiness. Only small downside is they're coated in a wax like substance and stick together so you have to pry them apart and if you microwave something, it tends to meld together and also stick into the bowl. But I still love them especially the price.
