Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) have slightly shorter fatty-acid chains than the common fats we eat in our day-to-day diets and this makes them more easily absorbed and utilised by the brain and body. These medium chain fats can be used to create ketones that can fuel the brain and central nervous system, offering an alternative energy source to glucose. Unlike common fats, they are utilised by the body quickly and are much less likely to be stored. MCTs are found in various plants an animal sources, yet Melrose MCT Oils are extracted exclusively from coconuts.Melrose MCT Kick Start contains the Caprylic (C8) and Capric (C10) fatty acids which are the most studied for increased ketone production and fat burning assistance.

Save your money- don’t buy

Purchased this for our trip to Mexico. At two cruise ports we were doing a combination snorkel and pool day. I got this sunscreen because it was reef friendly and came with two bottles. Both bottles were IMPOSSIBLE to spray. You could not sunscreen yourself because you had to hold the bottle just right, push down with extreme force, and have your fingers place very specifically on the lid. My 13 year old and husband couldn’t even use the bottles. I did figure it out so I had to continually sunscreen everyone in the family. No one in my family has sensitive skin, but we all ended up with a fine rash after using this sunscreen. On days prior we used another brand and no one had a problem. We also reapplied often (every 60-90 min) and we still got pretty burnt. Maybe we got a bad batch…

Spray Cap doesn’t work

Very annoyed- first use and the cap is stuck and won’t spray unless you fiddle around with it and twist it back and forth a few times in and out of the locked position and even then you have to mash down on the button SUPER hard for it to spray. Super weird, never had this issue with any spray product before. Very annoying and nearly impossible to spray yourself with all it takes to get it to work!

Bottle opens/sprays fine - READ

For those of you who said the bottle does not spray-- look closely on the top of the sprayer nozzle THERE IS the word LOCK with an arrow by it. (It needs to be clearer.) IT WORKS if you turn in the direction of the arrow half way around. IT WON'T OPEN UNLESS YOU TURN the top in THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROW so it unlocks. You can lock it again so it won't leak - a nice feature. I love the product and the clean Alba brand. Recommend.

Bad product. Do not buy!

No matter what I do to unlock the can, it simply will not work. I also bought the 30 SPF pack of two at the same time. They also do not work. Now, I have 3 cans of sunscreen that I cannot use because they will not spray and I can't even return them.
Check the return policy and the reviews! I did not and now I'm stuck with expensive trash.
This shouldn't be that hard. I've bought other brands that spray just fine. It's a problem specific to alba.
