This exquisite Victorian ring is a fine example of 19th century design. Beautifully crafted in buttery 18 carat gold with an ornate and highly detailed setting. At its heart lies a rich green emerald, framed by a halo of old cut diamonds, creating a classic cluster motif so beloved in the period.

Flanking the central cluster are two additional emeralds, one set on each shoulder, adding symmetry to the design. The entire piece is backed with gold brining and extra warmth to the stones. The gold setting is typical of the Victorian style, with intricate beaded edges, decorative scrollworks and flowing forms. Having the gold backing rather than an open setting gives the diamonds a more subtle sparkle rather than a dazzle is a glow and glimmer.

Condition: This is overall in good antique condition with a patina of wear to the stones and gold in line with the age of the ring. There is a subtle historical sizing at the back of the band and the centre emerald has a few cleeves in which is to be expected
