This striking piece began life most likely as a gentleman’s fob, once suspended from a watch chain, and today survives as a fascinating standalone component, perfect for a collector, or for conversion into a pendant or bespoke jewel.

The piece is beautifully crafted with one side displaying finely engraved gold panelling, full of texture and craftsmanship. The reverse features a deep green bloodstone panel, onto which a diamond set Masonic emblem has been carefully applied. The contrast between the rich stone and the brilliance of the diamond gives the piece remarkable visual depth.

What truly sets this piece apart is the extraordinary addition of a natural gold nugget, mounted proudly atop the design. This highly unusual feature suggests a deeply personal commission. Condition: the fob is piece is in lovely condition with online a fine patina of wear. as noted the top may have once had a fitting for a chain or fob watch however this is missing making it a wonderful and interesting pice of jewellery. Perfect for converting or making your own.
