The potted Coral Champagne Cherry tree is a semi-dwarf sized tree known for its bright, coral-colored cherries. These cherries are medium-sized with a firm texture and a sweet and juicy flavor that makes them perfect for snacking or baking. The tree is a great option for smaller yards or gardens.

To produce the best fruit, the Coral Champagne Cherry tree requires a pollinator. Other cherry trees such as Bing, Stella, or Van would be great options for this variety. The Coral Champagne Cherry tree has a mid-season harvest, typically ripening in early June.

While the Coral Champagne Cherry tree is delicious when eaten fresh, it is also a great ingredient in many recipes. The sweet and tangy flavor of the fruit pairs well with savory dishes, such as grilled meats or salads. They are also a perfect addition to desserts like pies, cobblers, and cheesecakes.

The Coral Champagne Cherry tree originated in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and was introduced to the market in the 1990s. This variety was specifically bred for its flavor and firmness, making it a great option for both fresh eating and cooking. Fun fact: the Coral Champagne Cherry gets its name from its bright coral color and the bubbles that appear on the fruit when it is washed.

Growing and Caring for the Coral Champagne Cherry Tree

  • Best Planting Location: The Coral Champagne Cherry Tree produces stunning coral champagne cherries with vibrant pink skin, adding a splash of color to your orchard.
  • Optimal Soil & Temperature: This cherry tree prefers well-drained soil with a slightly acidic pH. Being a low-chill requirement tree, it grows well in California and regions with moderate winter temperatures, similar to the Pacific Northwest climate.
  • Pruning and Maintenance: Prune your Coral Champagne Cherry tree during the dormant season to maintain a strong structure and encourage better fruit production. Proper pruning ensures healthy growth and maximizes the tree's mid-season yield.
  • Watering Requirements: Regular watering is essential during the growing season, particularly in spring and early summer, to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Coral champagne cherry trees thrive when moisture is maintained around the root ball.
  • Fertilization Tips: For best results, fertilize the Coral Champagne Cherry Tree in early spring before it blooms. Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer designed for cherry trees, ensuring the tree gets the nutrients needed for healthy growth and fruit development..

Pollination and Fruit Production

The Coral Champagne Cherry Tree requires cross-pollination with compatible cherry varieties for optimal fruit production. Coral Champagne trees thrive with pollinators such as Bing and Black Tartarian, ensuring a bountiful harvest of sweet cherries with a pink skin and low acid. These trees bloom in spring and produce delicious, firm fruit by mid-season, offering the best results in full sun and climates with a low chill requirement, such as California. Prunus avium, the species this tree belongs to, is known for its ability to produce high-quality fruit in orchards when properly pollinated.

Well designed portable water flosser that's holding up so far
There are a number of such portable water flossers on Amazon, but this is one of the better ones IMO. The water pressure is adequate, with enough settings to allow you to ramp up (or keep using on a lower setting if desired). One nice feature is that the tank detaches easily and this makes filling under a tap easier than other units which don't have an easily detached tank. The tank shape is also a bit fatter so it's not too long along any one dimension. The tank capacity of 300 ml is adequate for a single use. The standard suite of flosser heads are included - flossing itself, peridontal, and one for braces. The tongue cleaner attachment is also there but I prefer to use a separate tongue cleaner tool. Charging is via USB-C and while the port isn't super water proof, there's no damage to the unit yet. Battery life is typical at about 20-30 days with twice a day usage.

Quit working in a month
Bought one. It quit working. They sent another… it never worked right before finally dying on me the same way. Looks like it’s not even an available product anymore. But if it ever does come back.. don’t buy it.

Not what I expected!
I have never used a dental flosser before, and it showed by the mess I made haha. I can say, this isn't for me, but I can see the appeal. It is relatively lightweight and comes with a lot of different attachments. Loading it up with water is easy and doesn't take much effort. I would call this portable, even though it is a little big. I can only stand the "soft mode". If I choose any other, my mouth is overwhelmed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you have experience with dental flossers. It was hard to use at first but you get the hang of it.

Reasonable cost dental device (updated review)
I used this device for a few months to provide an accurate review. First off, it works. Fill the bottom end section with water, snap in a tip, switch on and go. Easy to use, and the instruction set is short and simple, the result of a thoughtful adoption process. Very reasonable cost. Several heads are provided for you to select. And there are three settings to use: soft, normal and pulse. I did not find any benefit to the pulse setting as it seemed to cycle the water pressure lower than to normal repeatedly. Several additional items worth mentioning: 1) The water pressure is modest. the lower pressure is made up for in more water delivery. 2) This device consumes water at a rapid pace. What this means is that you will need to either swallow or spill the water out of the side of your mouth at least twice during the 90 second cycle - while the unit is operating. Switch off during the cycle restarts the countdown. Water will accumulate rapidly in your mouth. You need to spill the accumulated water in your mouth with the unit on. If you remove it from your mouth you will have a mess around you. 3) The on-off switch is located on the handle toward the top. You will need to learn to not place your finger over the switch which abruptly shuts the device off. Conversely, if you like to swith off the device during the cycle to neatly spill accumulated water out of your mouth, you may find yourself attempting to find the switch push button without a tactile means of feeling for it. 4) The charge port has a small flexible grommet covering it, which might take a little while to find where it is located. 5) **This is my update from my original posting**: the duration of charge shortened over the last several weeks to the point where with the unit switched on, the lights are on, but the pump no longer works, meaning it died and has been trashed.

Decent water flosser.
This water flosser is a handy way to clean your teeth, especially when you're on the go. It's cordless and rechargeable, and it comes with different tips for various needs. The water tank holds enough for a full cleaning, and it doesn't leak. It has multiple settings, from gentle to strong, to get your teeth feeling fresh. While the tips might not be the most durable, and attaching the top can be a bit tricky, it's a great tool for keeping your mouth clean and healthy. It's a good alternative to traditional flossing, helping to remove bits and keep your gums healthy.
