The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter and delivers an aggressive Air Intake sound. Multiple air inlets bring in cool air when under power without capturing any warm air surrounding the engine. The factory MUA (Multi-Air Unit Actuator) is easily transferred to the aFe POWER housing to guarantee correct crankcase flow, avoiding check engine lights and damaging factory hoses and sensors. All hoses, clamps, and screws are provided to connect to the aFe POWER tube and secure the MUA to the aFe POWER housing. The lightweight tube is computer-designed to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.
