ABOUT THE ART
"I’ve been friends with Travis Barker [Blink 182 drummer] for a couple of years now – he came to one of my galleries a few years ago, and he’s bought a few of my pieces. Shortly after that initial meeting he got in contact and asked if I wanted to get involved in their next project, which turned out to be "California".
People often ask if I’m a big fan of the band and if i follow them etc. It’s definitely true that I have a lot of respect for them and their musical legacy, Travis especially has got to be one of the most gifted drummers of his generation. Given my age I think I missed the boat slightly when it came to being a true lover of their music but it doesn’t in any way take from the fact this was a huge project to be involved in, and one I’m very proud of to this day."
